Phones the plant floor depends on, with the analog devices nobody wants to replace.

For manufacturers, distributors, and industrial businesses where the office has IP phones but the plant floor has analog door bells, elevator phones, fax machines, and overhead paging from 1985.

Why manufacturing choose Triton

Manufacturing telecom is half new (IP for office), half ancient (analog for plant floor). Most cloud PBX vendors solve the new half and leave you to figure out the old. We deliver ATAs to bridge the analog devices, dedicated zones for overhead paging, and survivability so phones keep working when WAN does not.

Compliance fit

  • E911 per-site emergency routing
  • Fax retention where required for shipping or compliance
  • Shift-based call routing for 24/7 operations

Features that matter for this vertical

  • Analog Telephone Adapters (ATAs) for door phones, elevator phones, fax, paging amps
  • Overhead paging zones (warehouse, dock, office, lunchroom) with priority-override
  • Plant-floor survivability with local SBC failover
  • Multi-shift call routing (1st shift → 2nd shift → on-call)
  • Outbound caller ID per location (main office, satellite, dock)
  • Mobile app for dock supervisors and floor managers

Frequently asked

Questions we get asked the most

Can you replace our 30-year-old overhead paging system?

Not always replace, but we can integrate. We deliver SIP-to-analog ATAs that feed your existing paging amplifier. The phones become the paging input; the amplifier and speakers stay.

What about analog door phones and elevator emergency phones?

ATAs bridge them. Each ATA port presents the analog device as a SIP endpoint. Elevator emergency phones can be programmed to call a specific monitored extension.

How do we handle multi-shift coverage?

Time-based call routing changes the ring destination by shift. Day shift rings the main office; evening shift rings the floor lead; overnight rings on-call rotation.

Do you support fax?

Yes. T.38 fax over SIP for fax-to-fax. Fax-to-email for receiving. Some legacy fax workflows (shipping manifests) still need physical fax — ATAs solve that.

What is the plant-floor survivability story?

Local SBC at the manufacturing site keeps internal calling and emergency calling alive even when WAN is down. External calling routes via backup carrier where available.
